Silver Paws Resort began with a simple belief: senior animals deserve more care, more patience, and more love.

Inspired by Lola’s journey, our vision is to build a peaceful sanctuary where aging animals can spend their golden years safe, comfortable, and surrounded by compassion. Loving a senior animal shows how deeply gentleness and presence matter—and how often older animals are overlooked when their needs grow. Silver Paws Resort was created to change that reality, and we are working step by step to make this sanctuary possible.

Right now, we are in the building phase—saving, planning, and fundraising to create a calm, home-like space designed specifically for senior animals. Every dollar raised brings us closer to providing a safe place where they can slow down, rest, and feel truly cared for.

Our mission is rooted in compassion first. We believe senior animals deserve individualized care that honors their history, respects their pace, and meets their unique needs. This belief guides every decision we make as we work toward opening the doors of Silver Paws Resort.

Safety and peace are at the heart of our vision. The sanctuary we are building will be intentionally quiet, secure, and stress-free—focused not only on physical care, but on emotional well-being and quality of life.

In the meantime, we are still saving senior dogs—and we can’t do it without our community. While we work toward building the sanctuary, we rely on foster homes to help give senior dogs a safe place to land. We are especially seeking fosters who are seniors themselves—individuals or couples who would love the companionship of a dog but may not be able to commit to the long lifespan of a puppy.

This foster model allows us to place senior dogs with shorter life expectancies into loving homes where they can be companions, share quiet days, and be deeply loved—without the pressure of a long-term commitment. It creates meaningful connections for both the dog and the human, offering comfort, purpose, and companionship in this season of life.
